We’re thrilled to share a major milestone — Project LightARC, Remediiate’s demonstration plant in South Wales, has successfully started up.
To mark the occasion, CEO Carlos de Pommes met with Wayne Baxter, Managing Director of engineering partner Haden Freeman, in London — a fitting moment to celebrate the culmination of years of development and the hard work of everyone involved in bringing the plant to life.

This is a landmark moment for Remediiate. From laboratory science to a fully operational demonstration plant, Project LightARC is now capturing real industrial CO₂ emissions and converting them into nutrient-rich algae — proving the technology works at scale and setting the stage for full commercial deployment.
