Global sustainability consultancy Anthesis announced a partnership with Remediiate — one of our earliest and most significant endorsements, and a moment that helped put our technology on the map.
Covered by both Environment Analyst and Renewable Carbon News, the partnership combined Anthesis’ position at the heart of the sustainability industry with Remediiate’s proven, patented technology to convert industrial CO₂ into nutrient-rich algae at scale. Together, the two organisations set out to build an end-to-end business model linking industrial emitters to feed suppliers — repositioning CO₂ as a resource rather than a waste stream.
With 36 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions generated globally each year, the scale of the opportunity is enormous. Remediiate’s technology has the potential to address the 20 billion tonnes arising from power generation and industrial processes alone — while simultaneously creating a sustainable, circular protein source to reduce global reliance on soy and the deforestation linked to it.

This partnership was an early proof point that Remediiate’s vision was not just scientifically credible — it was commercially compelling. And as our progress since 2020 shows, we were just getting started.
